In mid-August, the iconic True Tiger and cherished Grime act Big Narstie entered the studio together, two days later they had the Hello High EP. New track Headgone is the first release from the unexpected project and represents a fascinating merging of styles.
Featuring guest vocals from solo artist Tanya Seifert, Headgone instantly found a home on national radio; refusing to depart ever since. Logan Sama featured the track on KISS FM whilst the legendary MistaJam extended his support by spinning it on his new Saturday night slot over on BBC Radio 1. Skream and Benga have offered their backing on the same network whilst BBC Radio 1Xtra have also granted heavy rotation with renowned DJ’s Charlie Sloth and DJ Target both blasting the high velocity banger though the airwaves.
Not too bad, ay?
The single is officially set for release on November 3rd as part of the Hello High EP with two other tracks that have yet to be unleashed; the visuals will be hitting the screens on the earlier date of October 14th. With the bass heavy production from True Tiger colliding head first with the punchy wordplay and frenzied flow of Big Narstie, Headgone makes for a stimulating listen; leaving you with a craving for further edgy releases from the unusual double act.
This one is a must listen.
