You’re currently reading my SECOND SighTracked blog of the year (my last one was pretty awesome, so had to obviously come back innit?)
It’s actually a special time for me. This week marked my ONE YEAR anniversary at SighTracked, time flies super fast! I joined a year ago around this time last year, full of nerves and anxiety to now running around the country working on excellent press campaigns for excellent artists doing excellent things, truly blessed! (This is the only Drake moment I will have throughout this write-up, don’t worry) But yes.. my one year anniversary mark was celebrated by the team who got me my own customized PR mug (with a bottle of champers & a sick card.. I don’t even get that on my birthday, winning.)
This week also saw your boy running around town with Big Narstie and True Tiger (recorded a special feature for FACTMAG… absolutely hilarious, check it out here), went to the Metropolis Studio’s to see the incredible Ayanna Witter-Johnson perform (one to definitely watch, no bullsh*t) and reach The Come Up, run by the homey Alya Mooro (it’s a sick night run once a month, Google it and thank me later!). Oh, and randomly had Conor Maynard lay over me and some of my fave journo’s. Haaaaaa!
In other news, I had the pleasure to handle R&B singer Tank’s press during his London visit which was pretty awesome. Got to hear rare stories of him working with the late Aaliyah (if you know me, you know my love for Aaliyah, it runs deep yo) and to top it off, I interviewed Miss Jhene Aiko for PardonMyBlog this week. Stopped myself from asking her out over the phone, it was quite tense.. but do check out the interview landing soon!
QUITE FUN AYYYYYY?!
I’ll stop yapping and once again leave you with an image of Rihanna holding my name up for no reason at all.
