Logan Sama’s contributions to the Grime scene over the years have earned him the status as a figurehead of the genre. His career began around the same time Grime was born in 2002. It all began snowballing when Logan was recruited by the then-pirate radio station Rinse FM, where Logan hosted the first show of it’s kind bringing an element of social interaction that Grime dedicated radio shows hadn’t seen before. After a legendary farewell show, he began his decade long journey with Kiss FM where he hosted the only Grime show on mainstream radio. Since parting ways with Kiss FM, Logan now holds a residency on BBC Radio 1Xtra as part of MistaJam’s #SixtyMinutes Mix, hosts exclusive shows at the iconic Boiler Room venue and has shifted his focus on developing his Keepin It Grimy brand while continuing to curate the scene.
